     The fungus candida albicans is known as a yeast infection. This fungus is actually present in everybody. It is found in males and females, young and old. Babies, teenagers, 30 somethings and the elderly have this fungus. It is naturally occurring. However, it is present in safe, low levels.

     The symptoms in a man can range from a burning sensation while urinating, to having redness in your penis and testicles area. Sometimes guys confuse this as perhaps being a sexually transmitted disease. When in fact it is not. They are embarrassed to see this in their privates area so they don’t tell anyone and hope it cures itself.

     If the yeast infection is not treated the fungus can travel up the urethra and hide in the prostrate gland. When this happens, the prostrate gland becomes irritated and inflamed. It is very difficult to find a yeast infection treatment that works when this happens. When it gets in there, it can cause problems in other parts of your body. You’ll go to your doctor for a diagnosis and since you will be displaying symptoms that are not like the typical yeast infection symptoms, you will be misdiagnosed and given medication only to alleviate the symptoms.
